Alex Horwitz is Director of Corporate Communications for Intelsat in Washington, D.C., where he is responsible for the company’s media relations and employee communications efforts.
He previously served as Strategic Communications Director at Freddie Mac, where he supported communications to the company’s nearly 6,000 employees nationwide. Prior to this, he spent eight years at Cox Communications in Arizona and Northern Virginia, serving as the company’s regional spokesperson.
Horwitz has 17 years of marketing communications experience, mostly in the telecommunications industry. His expertise is mainly in media relations, employee communications and social media.
Horwitz has both a Bachelor of Science degree and a master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.
