Robin Cobbey, Ph.D., holds a B.A. in anthropology and an M.A. in journalism from Ohio State University. She earned a doctorate in mass communications with a minor in marketing from Syracuse University, where she held the John Ben Snow Research Assistantship in the Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Cobbey has been actively involved in the field of communications for 25 years. She held management positions at Knight Ridder, the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the San Francisco Chronicle before starting a research company that provides such clients as USA Today, Hewlett-Packard, Netscape, the Oakland Tribune, and the Seattle Times with Internet services, including Web site development and usability testing.
