Teaches IMC 623 - Global Brand Communication
Neelesh Varde is a senior product manager at Roquette America and an adjunct instructor for the West Virginia University integrated marketing communications (IMC) program. He is the developer and current teacher of the IMC 623: Global Brand Communication course.
In his current position at Roquette America, Varde is involved in management and strategy for several global brands of food and pharmaceutical products. He has also spent the last four years serving as an instructor and course developer for Roquette University®, which offers a series of educational courses designed for professionals in the human nutrition, animal nutrition, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical industries. Previously while at the University of Michigan, Varde worked in developing the infrastructure for one of the first distance learning classes offered in the School of Engineering, Chemical Reaction Engineering (ChE 344), and served as the course teaching assistant.
His background includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan (summa cum laude) and a Master of Science and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
