Previous Degrees – Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Arizona State University

Misc. Facts – I have been involved in design and branding for over 25 years, and have always approached marketing communications from the creative side. The IMC program has allowed me to expand my definition of branding beyond the logo, and to better understand brand positioning, brand perception, and brand personality, along with the research and data that support their role in fully integrated campaigns. 

Capstone Experience – The capstone experience can be overwhelming, but is ultimately very rewarding. There were days when I felt like the goal was to great to achieve, and other days when I felt completely in control. My advice to those taking capstone is not to just get through it, but to try to enjoy the experience. It is important to find fun in the journey. Remember that you have spent two years learning what you need to know, and capstone is your chance to apply and showcase that learning.
