A former global senior marketing manager in integrated marketing communications
(IMC) at IBM, Dub became an instructor at both West Virginia University and Eastern
Michigan University teaching a variety graduate and undergraduate IMC and marketing
While at IBM, Dub developed and deployed global IMC programs for a variety of industries: banking, insurance, chemicals and petroleum, electronics, and energy and utilities. Prior to that he helped launch an emerging business opportunity unit focused on wireless broadband, and sensors and actuators, which became the foundation for IBM’s corporate Smarter Planet initiative.
Dub managed the North American direct marketing efforts for the Year 2000 project, and demand generation activities to the small and medium businesses. His campaign and management efforts won recognition and numerous awards both from IBM and the industry. He was also the North American integrated marketing communications (IMC) lead for both the personal computing division, and sectors and industries.
Pre-IBM, he directly managed agency support to clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Mead Johnson Pharmaceuticals and Citizens Bank Corp. He also served in various advertising and marketing positions for Tatham, Laird & Kudner Advertising, The Detroit Free Press, Lexitel Corporation, Wolf Detroit Marketing Group and R. L Polk & Company.
Dub received both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in advertising
and public relations from Michigan State University, and also earned the APR (Accredited
in Public Relations) designation from the Public Relations Society of America.
An avid golfer, he is also a certified professional coach and lives in Bloomfield,
Michigan, with his wife Diane.
