Patricia Marciano Girardi

Instructor Bio
Patricia Marciano Girardi is an author, speaker and instructor for the West Virginia University Reed College of Media’s IMC and DMC programs. She is a recognized thought leader in marketing to Millennials and Generation Z. 

Patti formerly served as VP, Marketing for Chartwells, the college dining division of global foodservice giant Compass Group. In this role, Patti led Chartwells’ industry-leading rebrand from “Eat. Learn. Live.” to “Where Hungry Minds Gather,” addressing the unique attributes of Generation Z.

Previously, Girardi served as Regional Vice President, sales and marketing for Fox Cable Networks, overseeing all affiliate activities for the western region of the United States. Girardi has held a number of field and corporate positions with Cox Communications, including acting Vice President for Cox’s New Orleans operation; Director, web marketing and E-commerce; and Brand Manager for Cox’s Premium Channel, Pay-Per-View, Cox Long Distance by Frontier and Cox Card product lines.

Girardi graduated valedictorian from Trinity College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
