2016 Alexia Vanides Teaching Award winner announced

The 2016 Alexia Vanides IMC Teaching Award went to Bob Sukys of Cincinnati, OH.

Bob Sukys joined the WVU IMC program in 2012 as an adjunct instructor, bringing his extensive experience in brand building, advertising development and production practices, along with interactive marketing and marketing training. He is a 2010 graduate of the IMC program as well a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he was honored as one of the 25 most prominent graduates of the Communications Arts Department on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.

Sukys is the founder and director of BrandMine, where he focuses on consulting and training practices in branding, marketing and consumer communication, as well as creating and managing best practices for advertising production. He has been instrumental in helping numerous Fortune 500 companies implement these practices.

Previously, he worked for P&G for over 20 years creating best practices for advertising development and production, implementing training programs for the company around the globe. In his career, he has personally shaped over 2,000 pieces of advertising.

He teaches IMC 615 for the WVU IMC program.
