This year, our program is celebrating its 10th anniversary! We were the first online IMC program in the nation and we have seen significant growth and continued innovation throughout the last 10 years. Starting with 17 students in 2003, the program now has 426 students enrolled.

While still in the WVU IMC program, now-graduate José Huitron saw the need for an integrated marketing communications agency with a multicultural focus in Santa Maria, CA. In March of 2012, José launched HUB 81.

Cyndi Greenglass had more than 20 years of experience in direct marketing and marketing communications before she enrolled in the WVU IMC program. She admits that it had been a while since she had been in the classroom, but she felt that she needed to round out her knowledge.

Current IMC student, Valerie Ater, joined Continental Airlines, now United Continental Holdings, as an international service manager 15 years ago. A busy travel schedule made a traditional graduate program nearly impossible, but WVU’s online IMC master’s degree program was a perfect fit.

Current IMC student Gabriel Allison has traveled to 33 countries and has lived in five. He currently works for an ELT (English Language Teaching) publisher in Seoul, South Korea while working on his IMC degree.
