Our faculty includes a mix of communication professionals—from marketing directors to academics to entrepreneurs. WVU IMC professors own strategic communications agencies, are published authors and have worked with some of the world’s most valuable brands, including Walgreens, AT&T, General Motors, Scripps Networks Interactive and more.

Each year, students vote to nominate influential and inspiring instructors to win the Alexia Vanides Teaching Award. Last year’s recipient was Mark Tietbohl.
